We starting to embrace Autumn in South Africa and although many of us are not ready for winter, it’s coming! I love the colder months and this year I’m planning to hibernate. 😉

Many of us moms struggle to find good quality winter clothing for our kids but worry not moms, Naartjie Kids got you covered. This is one of those quality brands you can rely on every winter and you can be sure that the clothing can be passed on to a sibling or family member saving you long-term.

Naartjie’s autumn range will add light and sparkle with a mix of prints and designs that you will love! You’ll find the Fall 2 range online at www.naartjie.co.za and in stores.

Autumn Trend #1 Denim Puffer

Our first trend for dressing girls this autumn, is pairing a sporty denim puffer with our floral mesh dress. The puffer offsets the prettiness of the dress with its washed denim look and stitch detail. The dress features a unique Naartjie floral print and mesh bubble skirt, making it the perfect piece for styling girls this autumn.

Autumn Trend #2 Graffiti Prints

It’s all about interpreting graffiti in new ways this season. This top features a speech bubble print that’s girly and fun, but can also be teamed with a speckled knitwear cardigan for that slouchy, on-trend look.

Autumn trend #3 Joggers

Jogger pants are all the rage this year for a more casual look. We’ve added knee patches and Naartjie badges to our cuffed corduroy pants for an authentic and boyish look.

Autumn trend #4 Hoodies with Ears

A world-wide trend, we just love our printed hoodie jacket with ears for baby girls. The zebra print adds an original African twist, for a truly South African look.

Autumn trend #5 Quilted baseball jackets

We’ve combined two key trends – quilting and baseball styling – with this playful baseball jacket for added warmth during the cooler months.

Autumn trend #6 Storytelling graphics

Our favourite trend for dressing newborn boys and girls this autumn, is using unique hand-drawn graphics to tell a story. For newborn boys, fun wording such as “you make me happy when skies are grey” is combined with images of aeroplanes and bears. With bittersweet red, strong charcoal and navy as our standout colours, we will ensure your little one is on-trend from day 1!

For newborn girls, phrases such as “I like people who smile when it rains” and “umbrellas are best shared with friends” are combined with pretty cloud designs and glitter prints of umbrellas and sparkly raindrops.

Naartjie Kids aims to give 30 000 items of clothing to disadvantaged children this Mandela Day.

In honour of Mandela Day this year, Naartjie Kids is once again asking their customers to donate their second hand children’s clothing to help clothe approximately 6 000 disadvantaged children and youth in the Western Cape.

How the Love Foundation Clothing Drive works:

For every piece of wearable kids clothing (of any brand) that customers bring into a Naartjie store, they will receive a 5% discount voucher. Customers can add their vouchers together and get up to 25% off their purchase at one time. If customers bring in more than 5 pieces of clothing, their remaining vouchers can be used on their next purchase. The cut-off date to bring clothing in and earn vouchers is the 15th of June and the vouchers expire on the 30th of June this year.
