Bath Time Essentials for a toddler

Moms ask me what products I use on Kitana during bath time. Although I did do a post about the bath tub Kitana uses:, I thought I’d share my favorite items for bath time.

1. Stokke Flexi Bath is my MUST have item.

Everything about this product is just so clever! Since we started traveling Stokke Flexi Bath is a must in my suitcase. Yes you read right, it can fit in your suitcase which makes it perfect for traveling. I take this tub everywhere.

2. Clevamamma Bath set

I bought the Clevamamma bath mat and knee cushion. The mat is almost 1 and half years old. It lasted until now, I think its great to have. It helps with avoiding your toddler to slip when you washing them.

3. Konjac Baby Sponge

I recently came across this sponge and its ama-zingggg! Absolutely love it and the best part is Kitana loves it too. Shes trying to bathe herself because of this sponge. Ideal for the entire family, 100% Pure Konjac Bath Sponge sloughs off dead skin cells to gently exfoliate the body and give a cleanse.

4. Pure Beginnings Toothpaste

Its difficult choosing the right brand of tooth paste for your toddler and this was one of my biggest issues. I’ve tried various brands and neither Kitana and I was happy until now. This natural toothpaste is a great way to get your kids into the routine of oral hygiene. It has a delicious raspberry flavor that makes brushing a treat, instead of a chore. It’s also made with xylitol, which is endorsed by many dental associations because it inhibits the growth of the bacteria that causes tooth decay. This toothpaste also contains no fluoride or sodium lauryl sulphate, so it’s safe to swallow and non-toxic, perfect for your little ones.

5. Dream baby finger tooth-brush

I prefer having the finger tooth-brush than the real tooth-brush because this way your finger is in control and you can brush in the right places instead of fighting with your toddler for the brush.’

6.  Bath toys storage

Boon animal pods are just the best for bath toys and your shampoo etc. Its neat and kid friendly.

7. Hooded towels

They are the best when you washing baby’s hair or to snuggle with your newborn as soon as you get them out of the water. Woolworth’s has a great range of towels.

8. Shampoo rinse cup

Most toddlers hate washing their hair, some clever person created an awesome cup to make life a bit easier when it comes to this.

9. Kiddy Calm Bubble Bath Salts

This product comes in various yummy flavors, colours and it all has bubbles! Its perfect after a long day, there’s one for everyone in the family.

10. Learning Bath toys

Kitana can spend hours in the bath..She never does but you get my point? It’s good to have some learning toys while their bathing. Munchkins have some interesting ones including the ABCs.

The Boon product site seems to be foreign. Who stocks their stuff in SA?
