curtains

My Curtains are falling apart – I mean they did last a really long time but now it’s time for a change so I’ve been searching for Curtains Online and I’ve been surprised to see the range available on Superbalist.

You know what they say… New curtains can bring life into a home. Okay, I don’t know if “they” say that, but I do. Ha-ha! 😉

We’ve been living in our current home for close to 11 years and in the last 2 years, my home has been crying out for some TLC in so many ways. To be honest, I just haven’t had the time or budget to fix up everything at once so I’ve been trying to work in stages and make little changes that can overall make an impact in each room.

Currently, curtains are one of the things that I need to shop for desperately.

Here’s a little rant from me about curtains…

Honestly, I’m so over taped curtains because of how easily it is worn out that now I’ve decided to use eyelets throughout the house.

I’m sure by now you’ve realised that Superbalist is one of my favourite online stores because you really do get good deals but also their service and quality have never let me down so I always feel confident shopping on their website.

I know, shopping for curtains online can be daunting especially if you don’t know the width and length of the curtains you need so that is why it’s so important you do measurements and think about the type and style of curtains you want to buy.

Tip: Create a vision board for each room using Canva or Pinterest to help you create your dream look.

It’s also extremely important you shop around before making that big decision. Curtains are an investment and can cost an arm and leg depending on how many windows you have in your home.

For example, I would most probably never do velvet curtains because I have a cat who loves to hide behind curtains. I also gravitate towards block-out because the sun hits our bedrooms in the mornings which can be a little uncomfortable especially for me on a Saturday morning when the kids would perhaps use this as an alarm clock to wake mommy up.

Things you need to note:

  • Think about the colour and fabric.
  • Length and lining.
  • Washer machine friendly vs. Dry clean only – you want something convenient if you have pets and kids.
  • Tailored vs readymade.

Yes, this is your sign to start researching a bit more. 😉 You might even find a good sale currently on https://superbalist.com/shop/curtains.
