I absolutely love wearing dresses – during summer and winter!
I know… you may be wondering, like how do you wear dresses when it’s freezing outside?!
Well, you just need to learn how to style it for the season. 😉
Superbalist has such gorgeous dresses for women available. From the modest dress to that little black number for a night out with the girls!
Dresses for women have changed so much over the years, offering us more of a variety in style to suit our lifestyles and personalities.
There’s no wrong way of styling an item so play around with your piece like it’s a blank canvas.
My closet has changed so much over the years and it’s still changing because I’ve learned so much about fashion from Pinterest and Fashion bloggers on social media. It inspires me to challenge my current style and lookbook.
Don’t be afraid to add layers like vests, turtle necks, long sleeve shirts, jeans or scarves to your dress. Layers might be the most important part of wearing that summer dress in winter without freezing.
Remember to always stock up on basics like long-sleeved shirts in different colours or scarfs in black and white that could most probably go with any outfit.
Try and create capsule looks that could work during all seasons.
Be Strategic About Your Footwear
I’m not a huge fan of long boots but it does work well in winter with a short or long dress with stockings under.
Tip: Look for boots that have material that will protect and keep your ankle and legs warm.
Choose Long Coats/Dresses
Long coats work well for winter and autumn. Invest in a warm one that isn’t also too heavy.
I love wearing long dresses with a long coat in winter because no one know can see what I have under it which is tights 99% of the time. 😊
Replace Your Tights with Fleece Lined Leggings
We all love wearing stockings during winter – just make sure you invest in the right ones that will also keep you warm on those super freezing days.
Wear A Sweater on Top of Your Dress
Wear that sweater over a dress! It adds that fun casual look to your outfit and there are a few different ways that you can style it.
