It’s time to travel and the best way to see South Africa is by getting in your car and road tripping! KwaZulu-Natal is a popular province to visit during the school holidays and festive season.
I know, travelling with kids can be exhausting but it’s also fun! You can check my must-have items for the car when travelling with the kids here.
One of the many reasons why I love my Volvo XC60 is because travelling long distance is such a luxury experience thanks to all the amazing features the car has. The air suspension on the Volvo XC60 helps give a smooth ride over bumps – I think this is one of the features the kids really enjoy. We haven’t had any screams or complaints since we have the Volvo.
Pilot assist is still one of my favourite features in this car. At first, it feels a bit weird because the car is literally helping you with steering assistance and to maintain the distance to the vehicle in front of you (great when you are travelling with lots of family in different cars) but afterwards you realise what a blessing it is to have this feature. Pilot Assist also attempts to keep your car in the middle of the lane and if you go off, the car will push you back in the middle.
There’s a choice between Eco, Comfort, Off-road and Dynamic driving modes on the Volvo XC60. So why not try visiting somewhere new?
