6. Baby friendly environment
The expo has a feeding room, nappy changing area and a pram park if you attending the Barney show. This makes it really convenient to shop.
7. Free samples and pamphlets
You may not want to purchase everything at the expo so chatting to the brand and getting their information is important for future reference. Product samples is the best way to test before purchasing. I have a huge box filled with them and use many when travelling for my nappy bag.
8. Brand comparison
This is the only place you will find most baby brands and their representatives under one roof. Use this opportunity to ask questions.
9. BeSafe Car Safety Centre
I’m so glad I visited this stand at the last expo; I learnt about what to do during a hijacking when you have kids in the car. The BeSafe Car Safety Centre is a workshop space at the show that will give parents the opportunity to engage with a BeSafe consultant who will offer valuable information so that as a parent you can make educated and informed decisions on the importance of car safety as well as what to look out for when buying a car seat.
10. Netcare Baby Clinic
Within the Stork’s Nest offering the new parents have access to a 24-hour crisis line, ante-and post-natal support, breastfeeding support, well-baby clinics, vaccinations of the newborn after discharge from the hospital; parent support and counselling. At the Netcare Stork’s Nest Baby Clinic at the expo moms and dads can get their little one vaccinated by qualified nurses while getting all their questions answered.
