I’ve been searching for a good shampoo & conditioner for my toddler for ages! To be honest in the past 2 years I’ve tried many brands. The popular ones and the not so popular ones but I never tried an organic one and I have no idea why!
Kitana’s hair always looked dull and flat until I finally tried the Ruben & Rebekah shampoo & conditioner thanks to Titch & Bean online boutique store.
I’ve been using the product on Kitana’s hair for more than 2 months and I saw a difference from day 1. Her hair is shiny, healthy and smells great! Family and friends have complimented me on her hair and even asked me what my secret is. Well… today I’m sharing my secret. 😉
I was sent 3 products to review from Titch & Bean online boutique store thanks to Mamahood South Africa.
The Ruben & Rebekah Shampoo & Body Wash:
The chamomile and calendula extracts help to soothe the scalp, while jojoba oil conditions the hair. Perfect for sensitive skin. The rooibos and aloe provide an anti-inflammatory effect, treating your child’s soft and delicate skin with the pampering it deserves.

The Ruben & Rebekah Conditioner:
The Jojoba oil will soak your little one’s hair with all the nourishment it needs; while soothing calendula and chamomile oils condition the sensitive scalp, and add a pleasant fresh fragrance.

The Ruben & Rebekah Bubble Bath:
The cooling aloe and rooibos extracts in this bubble bath provide great anti-inflammatory benefits, soothing the skin and keeping it soft and well-nourished. Kitana didn’t really enjoy this product because the bubbles does not seem to last long unless you put in a lot but I think it’s great for kids who want a little bit of bubbles (my daughter is obsessed with bubbles.)
Price: R70
Mom and Brands Rating:
The brand was created by a mom for a mom. No one understands the struggle of products better than a mom especially if you have a child that has extremely sensitive skin.
About Ruben & Rebekah:
Ruben is a little boy whose body is very sensitive to toxins and toxin build up. Rebekah is a baby whose skin is sensitive to synthetic fragrances and other nasties!
The Ruben & Rebekah Baby and Kids ranges have been created by Naturals Beauty, a small, Proudly South African Company that believes in using natural and organic ingredients to make their products, caring for your child’s skin as well as the environment. They are committed to making products that are free from petrochemicals, parabens, synthetic fragrances, and harmful chemicals. And absolutely none of their products or source products are tested on animals. Source: Titch and Bean
How often do you stand in the baby aisle at the store staring at baby products trying to figure out which one will be the best for your child? Well honestly, I was there. I used to only shop in stores and never believed in searching online to find brands that are not in stores. Shopping in store is convenient but honestly it isn’t always the best option.
Blogging opened me up to a whole new world. A world of brands I never knew existed like this one and it also taught me how important it is for me as a mom to read the fine print on the back of a product.
I haven’t tried the entire Ruben & Rebekah range yet but I’ve just placed an order on www.titchandbean.co.za for more products. This time I’ve purchased some products for Kiaan and I’m stocking up on the shampoo & conditioner for the holidays.

I’m still searching for the brand that helps with my girls. Do you know how it works on black hair?
This would have been nice to have when my girls were smaller. They have dry hair and I would always put oil to make them softer. This would make the job a lot easier.
This is the first time I’ve heard of this brand. I love that these products are organic. I would love for the twins to try them.
I love how effective these products look! My daughter has super thick hair so to make her hair look healthy and full takes a lot of effort and/or product.
