On Sunday morning Vije and I visited the Maslow Wedding Expo. Im sure you wondering why? We already married with a baby 🙂
Vimage Media was celebrity gifting at the expo with Social Butterfly. We sponsored vouchers to be given as prizes to celebrities, bloggers and couples attending the event. Walking towards the entrance and seeing the fancy Rolls Royce Phantom made me so excited, wanting to see more. It also made me want to get married again 😛 .. The expo wasn’t exactly big but it did have a variety to offer from wedding venues to photography and wedding cakes. We walked around, chatted to various companies and had a chance to experience what a Maslow Wedding would be like. I always wanted a white wedding and unfortunately did not have one yet…Yes yet… because we plan on renewing our vows for our 5 year anniversary.
I bought many books to get ideas and see the type of dresses available but I was left in awe when I saw the stunning dresses at the fashion show. The models were non other than the Miss South Africa 2014 finalists. These girls carried themselves with grace and walked down the ramp beautifully grabbing everyone’s attention. All eyes were definitely on them. It was the first time I got to see the finalists and I must say the Judges did a great job choosing the Top 12. After watching them in action, Im hoping to attend the finals. Been in the pageant industry before starting YBI, I’ve always followed Miss SA. It was tradition that the entire family got together to watch the finals and cheer our favorites. Now being a mother of a baby girl, I already know she is going to love the camera. After all her parents practically carry it everywhere. I want to introduce her to fashion and modeling because it helped me gain self esteem when I was younger.
The Maslow did a great job hosting their first expo. I loved the fact that they had customized bottles for the occasion.
The goodie bags even had a pen and pencil for you to remember the Maslow. The expo shouted out wedding and class. Attending the expo reminded me of my special day, Thank you Maslow for rekindling those special moments.
